BIO:
Eric J. Fabrizio is a shareholder at Bingaman Hess. He joined the Firm in June 1998. His practice areas include Estate and Trust Planning, Estate Administration, Elder Law/Asset Protection, Guardianships, Orphan’s Court Litigation, Special Needs Planning, Business Law and Family Law. Prior to joining Bingaman Hess, Eric was a Berks County Assistant District Attorney from 1996-1998. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the Federal Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

A native of Bridgeport, PA, Eric is a 1992 graduate of Susquehanna University and received his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1995. He is the past president of the Berks County Estate Planning Council, which is dedicated to the education of its members on efficient and effective estate planning; past president of the Justice William Strong American Inns of Court, Berks County Chapter; and a member of the Berks County Orphan’s Court Rules Committee. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Property & Trust Law, Elder Law and Family Court Sections. He is a frequent speaker on topics of estate planning, elder care and asset protection, planning for special needs individuals, and economic planning issues arising in divorces.  

Eric currently serves on the Board of Directors of Prospectus Berco, a large non-profit organization that meets the needs of adults with disabilities by providing employment, housing and other innovative services. He has also served as a Board Member for the St. Ignatius 
CYO, Caron Foundation Planned Giving Council, Treasurer for Cub Scout Pack 431, and Vice President of the Van Reed Athletic Association.

Eric is also a referee and judge for USA Boxing, as well as an official with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission for boxing and mixed martial arts. He has been a longtime volunteer youth football and lacrosse coach.
