BIO:
Mataya T. Winchester joined Bingaman Hess as an associate in 2026. She graduated from Salem State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Italian and earned her Master of Business Administration from Salem State University in 2022. She received her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2025. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
During law school, Mataya gained experience in family law, labor and employment law, municipal defense, and civil litigation through clerkships and internships with private law firms. Her experience includes legal research and writing, discovery, motion practice, client advocacy, and litigation support. She brings a diverse legal and business background to her practice and is committed to providing practical and effective representation to clients. She also brings a unique combination of legal, business, and international studies experience, allowing her to approach client matters with both analytical and practical perspectives.
Originally from Massachusetts, Mataya now resides in Lancaster County. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Berks County Bar Association. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, golfing, and continuing her study of foreign languages and cultures.
