BIO:
Curt Johnston is an attorney at Bingaman Hess with experience in all aspects of civil litigation including automobile accidents, premises liability, property insurance coverage, products liability, and insurance coverage opinions. He performs all phases of trial and appellate litigation. Curt joined Bingaman Hess in March 2020. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the Federal Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.   

Curt grew up in a small city in the snow belt region of upstate New York. In 1983, he graduated from Gettysburg College. He then worked for Motorists Mutual Insurance Company as a multi-line claims adjuster and later as a claims supervisor until 1988. He attended the Widener University School of Law graduating cum laude in 1991. While in law school, Curt was a member of the Law Review and served as internal managing editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. Following law school, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Delaware Supreme Court from 1991-1992.

Curt previously served on the South Heidelberg Township Zoning Hearing Board. In his spare time, Curt enjoys landscaping and vegetable gardening, cooking, and keeping to a regular exercise routine. Curt and his wife also enjoy bicycling and cross-country skiing. When time allows, they enjoy travelling in different parts of Europe and the U.S.
